School of Russian classical ballet to open in Indian capital

The Russian House in New Delhi is opening the School of Russian Classical Ballet, which will be headed by a choreographer of the Bolshoi Theatre. Children and teenagers aged 6 to 16 are invited to the school, the Russian House telegram channel reports.

Young Indian ballet dancers and dancers from other 11 countries took part in the concert of graduates of the School of Innopraktika and Russian Seasons, which was held at the Alexandrinsky Theater in St. Petersburg. The students studied at the Boris Eifman Dance Academy.

Schools and studios of Russian ballet are opening in different countries. They enjoy great popularity with local residents and foreign guests. The head of the Sergei Diaghilev Ballet School in Tunisia, one of the oldest and most numerous in North Africa, Inna Bushnak said in an interview with Russkiy Mir that Tunisians and children of Russian compatriots, as well as Americans, Canadians, Italians, French, Ukrainians enroll in the school.
