The destruction of the monuments that commemorate the heroes who gave away their lives for peace and freedom testifies to the fact that neo-Nazism is becoming more and more acute in Estonia. The Russian embassy emphasized that Tallinn refuses to respond to these manifestations, RIA Novosti reports. On the contrary, there has long been a feeling that the Estonian authorities not only support them, but even encourage them.

The descendants and successors of those who could not forgive the Soviet people for the victory over the ''brown plague'' decided to unite under a cynical campaign to eliminate monuments to Soviet soldiers launched in Estonia, according to Russian diplomats.

Earlier, the Estonian government supported the decision to eliminate Soviet monuments. According to Prime Minister Kai Kallas, this will be done as soon as possible.

Today, there are from 200 to 400 monuments with Soviet symbols on the territory of Estonia. Kaya Kallas does not hide the fact that the decision on the fate of the monuments was accelerated by the Ukrainian crisis.
