France introduced restrictions for Russians when visiting the Château de Vincennes, which is located near Paris. The Ministry of the Armed Forces of France said that the measures were introduced due to the events in Ukraine: Russian citizens have limited access to French military facilities, including the said castle, TASS reports.

At the end of July, two Russian women who showed their passports could not get inside the castle. The security of the facility explained the denial of access by the citizenship of the women.

The castle houses one of the centers of the historical service of the Ministry of the Armed Forces of France and the archives of the department. The ministry said that exceptions to access to the facility are possible only on the basis of special journalistic requests.

France is among the top three countries in terms of the number of complaints from Russians about discrimination based on nationality and language. They send applications to the Russian Bar Association, which protects the rights of compatriots abroad.
