Another rally aimed at supporting Russia's actions took place in Italy, on July 16, in Bergamo, TASS reports.

The organizer was Amedeo Avondet, a university student from Turin, the creator of the United Italy project. According to him, about 300 people came to Piazza Vittorio Veneto. Many were holding Russian tricolors in their hands. The participants protested against the stance taken by the Italian authorities regarding the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, against the transfer of weapons to the Kyiv regime. Avondet also recalled that the head of the Italian government, Mario Draga, wants to leave his post. He hopes that in the next elections Italians will make the right choice by voting for the freedom and independence of the country.

Earlier, similar rallies took place in Milan and Rome. Avondet recalled that the sanctions, which Italy joined at the behest of European officials and NATO representatives, had alreadymade the prices of food and gasoline skyrocket. Amedeo Avondet called for the restoration of friendly relations with Moscow, which will allow Rome to receive gas and oil at preferential prices.
