A list of repressions by Western countries directed against Russian media and journalists are listed on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry, TASS reports. The corresponding section contains all such facts recorded from the moment when Moscow recognized the people's republics of Donbass and announced the start of the military special operation.

There are 27 countries on the list. These include most European countries and the United States, as well as Colombia, New Zealand, Costa Rica, South Africa and others.

The Foreign Ministry promised to regularly update the list.

The American, British, Canadian, and Australian authorities are most actively persecuting the Russian-language media. In most of these countries, broadcasting of Russian TV channels is banned, and Russian media websites are blocked. Sanctions have been imposed against many Russian journalists.

The list also includes restrictions imposed by Western Internet tech companies. YouTube, for example, blocked the online broadcasting of a number of TV channels in more than 70 countries.
