A rally against the supply of weapons to the Kyiv regime was held in Rome, RIA Novosti reports. At least 1,000 people joined the rally, which took place in one of the central Roman squares.

The participants called for an investigation into the crimes committed by the Kyiv regime against civilians in Donbass since 2014. At the rally, they initiated the signing of an appropriate appeal to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR.)

According to the organizer of the rally, Amedeo Avondet, who leads the United Italy political association, the participants also demanded that Italy withdraw from NATO.

The organizers noted that even the heat did not stop those wishing to join the rally. The participants want Italy to abandon the continuation of the economic war and the insane sanctions policy. The protesters are sure that the weapons that the West is feeding Kyiv with only prolong the conflict.

Amedeo Avondet added that representatives of the United Russia party took part in the rally online. He is confident that the UN should get involved in order to end the conflict in Donbass, when Moscow "is again included in international politics."

Avondet plans to continue similar rallies, the next one should take place in Naples or Reggio Calabria.
