Residents of Milan are invited to join a rally against the cancellation of Russian culture, Planet360 reports. It will take place for the 2nd time under the Peace Arch in Piazza Sempione on Wednesday June, 15. The rally is organized by the"Friends of Great Russia" assocation.

According to the organizers, it is impossible to observe without regret what is being done with Russian culture in Italy. This came as a deep shock to many and led to the idea of holding a rally.

The initiative to hold such events belongs to the lawyer Leo Maria Galati. According to him, the abolition of history and culture in general builds ideological barriers and destroys cultural ties.

The idea of the rally was supported by many prominent figures of Italian culture - singer Al Bano Carrisi, actress Angelica Pedatella, actor David Gramiccioli, sociologist, poet and playwright Antonella Pagano, critic and doctor of historical sciences Enzo Dall'Ara and many others. The rally will be followed by a concert, which will be attended by the "Rossiyana" dance ensemble under the direction of Maria Avakumova, opera soloist Larisa Yudina and cellist Alexander Zyumbrovsky.

The ''Friends of Great Russia'' organized a rally in Rome for the first time in May. Several dozen people took to Piazza dei Santi Apostoli, which is located next to the famous Trevi Fountain, one of the symbols of Rome.
