The American authorities should not condone the genocide of Russian speakers, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov is sure. He urged Washington to stop the pitting of the Ukrainian and Russian peoples, RIA Novosti reports.

The Pentagon said that the United States is training members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces so that they can use the American HIMARS and MLRS multiple launch rocket systems. Earlier, Washington had already promised to supply them to Ukraine.

The consequences of HIMARS and MLRS attacks on civilian infrastructure, schools, hospitals and residential areas can be horrifying, the Russian ambassador emphasized.

The day before yesterday, five residents of Donetsk died due to the Ukrainian army shelling the city. 39 people received injuries of varying severity. The capital of the Donetsk People's Republic was subjected to the most extensive shelling since 2015. There are practically no areas left in the city that would be safe. The shelling of Donetsk continued for six hours.
