A resident of Madrid defended the Russian flag on Victory Day in front of a crowd of aggressive Ukrainian women reminding them of the decisive role of the USSR in the victory over the Nazis. The dispute was caught on video and went viral on the Internet, InoSMI reports.

The woman took to the streets of the Spanish capital with a Russian flag in her hands on Victory Day and was attacked by pro-Ukrainian activists. She explained to them that the USSR defeated the Nazis, which made possible the existence of modern democratic countries. Otherwise, many would have ended up in concentration camps and gas chambers.

The woman explained that on May, 9 the planet celebrates the defeat of the invaders who killed, among other things, Ukrainians and Ukrainian Jews. She noted that Ukrainians also fought against Nazism as part of the Soviet army.
