International Affairs magazine celebrates 100th anniversary

24.03.2022

This year, the Russian International Affairs magazine turns 100 years old. This is a monthly magazine dedicated to the problems of foreign policy, diplomacy and national security. Its founder is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. The first issue of the magazine was published in 1922 - back then it was called the Weekly of the People's Commissariat for Foreign Affairs. Under the current name, the publication of the magazine was resumed in 1954.

Chairman of the Board of the Russkiy Mir Foundation, First Deputy Head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Vyacheslav Nikonov congratulated the editorial staff of the magazine. He noted their highly professional approach to work, the efficiency and objectivity of information. ''International Affairs certainly serves as a reliable source of knowledge for its readers and a real intellectual help for young professionals: future diplomats, international journalists, young scientists and researchers,'' Nikonov noted.
