NASA is ready to host Russian cosmonauts for pre-flight training

NASA has confirmed its readiness to host Russian cosmonauts at the Lyndon Johnson Space Center in Houston for pre-flight training. Earlier, the United States refused to issue a visa to Russian citizen Nikolai Chub, TASS reports.

The US space agency has called the Russian cosmonauts "international partners" and stressed that it is lookig forward to their arrival for training. 

It became known that Nikolai Chub received an American visa, his training in Houston would take five weeks. A visa was also issued to Russian Anna Kikina, who will become the first cosmonaut from Russia to take part in cross-flights.

Russian cosmonauts and American astronauts are conducting training in both countries to get familiar with the Russian and American segments of the ISS.
