Moscow has applied to host the World Universal Exhibition (EXPO) in 2030. If Moscow wins the bid, it will be the first time Russia hosts the largest exhibition in the world, the Russian House writes on Facebook.

More than 130 tech companies are currently operating in Moscow.

Russia's experience of participation in EXPO dates back to the middle of the 19th century. The exhibition, which Moscow would like to host, will take place from April 27 to October 27, 2030.

In the video, created as part of Moscow's bid to host EXPO 2030, one can see the Kremlin, the Bolshoi Theater and other sights of Moscow, views of the metro, as well as ballet and classical music performers, and scientists. The video ends with a display of the "Worker and Kolkhoznitza Woman" sculpture, which was created for the pavilion of the Soviet Union at the international exhibition in Paris in 1937.
