More than 20 countries to take part in "Children of Asia" sports tournament

Representatives of more than 20 countries are going to take part in the "Children of Asia" international tournament, TASS reports. Sports games are scheduled for the beginning of summer in Vladivostok.

The symbol of the tournament, fire, will be delivered to Vladivostok from Yakutia on June 12.  Almost 400 people are going to carry the torch, including locals - famous athletes, public figures, and honors school students.

Young athletes from Syria, Yemen, Vietnam, Qatar and other countries are going to compete for victory.

The "Children of Asia" Games are organized every four years in more than 20 sports disciplines. The Games have received wide international recognition, being the only Russian project held under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee and UNESCO.
