Festival of Russian language held in Canada

The Niagara Lyre Poetry Festival brought together authors from Canada and the United States, writing in Russian. The festival in Toronto included performances by poets, meetings with famous writers, a round table discussion with the participation of translators, the press service of organizations of Russian compatriots in Canada writes.

The organizer of the festival is the Amazing Cat Arts Center, which traditionally holds performances, concerts and other events with the participation of talented people who came to Canada from Russia and other republics of the Soviet Union. It is noted that many Russian-speaking writers, poets, musicians, artists, craftsmen in the field of folk crafts live in the country.

The writers shared their creative plans with each other and discussed events in the life of the Russian diaspora. Two festival participants came to Toronto from the USA. The authors and translators made a joint trip to Niagara Falls.
