Teaching Russian in Cuba needs development and support, Russian compatriots are sure, TASS reports. This issue became one of the subjects of discussion at the conference, which took place in Havana. The forum took place at the Museum of the Revolution.

Russian emigrants living in different regions of the islands gathered there. According to them, it is necessary to acquaint Cubans with Russian cinema, to translate films into Spanish. The participants proposed to show Russian language lessons to the population of the island, to include them in the TV program. According to Russian compatriots, Cubans are interested in participating in various cultural events. It is necessary to intensify work in social networks, the forum participants decided.

This format is now the most effective tool to acquaint people with the history, culture and traditions of Russia, the participants believe.

The opening of "The Golden Ring of Russia" photo exhibition was timed to coincide with the conference.
