Titian's canvases from Hermitage Museum exhibited in Vienna

Residents and guests of Vienna have the chance to see the works of the great Titian, Izvestia writes. The exhibition, titled "Women through the Eyes of TitianBeauty - Love - Poetry", reopened after a after a three-week lockdown. It is located at the Vienna Kunsthistorisches Museum.

The works of Titian himself, as well as paintings by other Renaissance artists from Venice are exhibited in Vienna. The largest museums in the world have provided unique masterpieces for the exhibition. The Russian Hermitage Museum has contributed to the exhibition along with the Louvre, Metropolitan, Prado.

The curator of the exhibition, Sylvia Ferina-Pagden, called it the most important event of the season. The art critic recalled that it was Titian who was credited with the "invention" of paintings, which captured images of beauties. The expert added that the work of Titian and his followers still remains unexplored to the end.
