Hermitage hosts exhibition of works by Albrecht Durer

The Hermitage Museum is celebrating the anniversary of the famous German artist Albrecht Durer, Izvestia writes. This year marks the 550th anniversary of his birth.

The exhibition is located in the Nikolaev Hall. Almost 500 paintings are exhibited in the museum. The collection includes portraits painted by Dürer, as well as sketches of church stained-glass windows, sketches for an engraving and a study for a picturesque altar.

The exhibition will last until the end of March. The guests will be able to hear the recording of the musicAeterna team led by Theodor Currentzis. The team recorded the soundtrack to accompany the exhibition. The exposition works with the participation of the Rosseti group.
