5,500 people have attended the events of the Russian Film Week. According to the founder of the film forum, Philip Percon, the mere fact that the festival took place, despite all the pandemic restrictions, is already an excellent result, TASS reports.

"Captain Volkogonov escaped" by Natasha Merkulova and Alexei Chupov was named the best picture. The leading actor in the same film, Yuri Borisov, was recognized as the best actor. Svetlana Khodchenkova was named the best actress for her work in "It's Not Her Name" - the Russian drama by Veta Geraskina. ''Far Eastern Golgotha'' by Yulia Sergina became the best documentary.

In total, 23 feature films, 19 short films and 3 documentaries were screened at the festival. The London Festival remains the world's largest "panorama of Russian cinema" outside of Russia.
