The Mystery of Russian Song Festival took place in The Hague. The Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots in the Netherlands, the Moscow Government and the Moscow Compatriot House acted as its organizers. This musical celebration marked the end of the 2021 cultural season.

Renowned opera soloists Elnara Muermans and Gulnara Shafigulina took the stage of the DeVaillant Theater. They performed Russian folk songs, as well as works by Russian and foreign composers. The singers were accompanied by the pianist Thomas Alexander and the children's vocal group Grandi Piccoli.

The event was held in compliance with all safety rules adopted to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the Netherlands.

Each performance was announced in Russian and Dutch and accompanied by a short explanation on the history of this or that work.
