Russian Film Festival kicks off in Montpellier

The 1st Russian Film Festival is taking place in Montpellier (France) on December 8-12. It is organized by the Montpellier - Russia  Association with the support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation.

The festival program includes films of different genres: Kirill Serebryannikov's fantasy drama "Petrov's Flu", Vadim Shmelev's war drama "The Last Frontier", "Pegtymel" by Andrey Golovnev and other features.

The organizers have also chosen several documentaries related to the traditional life of Siberia and the Far East for the festival.

The official opening of the festival will take place on December 10 at the Nelson Mandela House of International Relations. The representatives of the Montpellier's mayor office, the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Marseille, the Russian House of Science and Culture in Paris are going to take part in it.
