About 100 Afghan students will be taken to Russia, RIA Novosti reports. According to the head of the Afghanistan Diaspora Center in Russia, Gulam Mohammad Jalal, the flight is expected on Wednesday, December 1.

The plane from Russia will bring humanitarian aid Afghanistan, and then pick up students from Kabul. The president of the center noted that several hundred Russians remain in the country. They prefer to remain in the country for now, since the situation there has stabilized.

Earlier, the diaspora revived the consent of the Russian authorities to export those willing to leave the country from Afghanistan. There are about 1,000 of them, including students, people with citizenship and a residence permit in Russia. Some of them have already arrived in Moscow, Gulam Mohammad Jalal added.

In mid-November, three Russian planes evacuated about 400 people from Kabul. Citizens of Russia,Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, and Afghanistan were on board of the plane.
