Russian films win Sputnik over Poland film festival

Petrov's Flu by Kirill Serebrennikov has won the main prize of the Sputnik over Poland festival. The results of the competition were summed up in Warsaw on November 28, TASS reports.

In total, more than 15 features competed for the victory. The second place went to Masha by Anastasia Palchikova, and the bronze wentto The House Arrest by Alexei German Jr.

Fast-paced drama of repentance marathon for the captain of the National Security Service Fyodor Volkonogov, Captain Volkonogov Escaped directed by Natalya Merkulova and Aleksey Chupov received the special prize of the jury.

Stanislavsky. Lust for Life dedicated to the outstanding Russian actor and director by Yulia Bobkova took the best documentary prize. The second prize went to Nerka. Red Fish by Dmitry Shpilenok and Vladislav Grishin.
