Russian President Vladimir Putin has joined the participants in the trials of a nasal vaccine against coronavirus infection, TASS reports.

The president was revaccinated against the coronavirus with the Sputnik Light vaccine on November 21. Putin noted that he did not have any side effects and felt well after the procedure.

The president tested the nasal vaccine after being injected with Sputnik Light. He addressed the Russians with an appeal to timely undergo revaccination against COVID-19.

The permission has already been granted to conduct the first phase of trials of a nasal COVID-19 vaccine in adult volunteers. According to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the results of preclinical studies confirm the safety and effectiveness of the drug.
