An exhibition of works by Russian artists is scheduled to start in Ljubljana at the beginning of the next year, TASS reports.The exhibition is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Slovenia.
 
The works of two artists - Alexander and Mark Smirnov - wil be presented at the exhibition. The artists captured Slovenia's most spectacular sights, its architecture and nature, as well as the inhabitants of the country.

Mark Smirnov said that he seeks to convey the atmosphere to the viewer in his paintings. His father studies the concept of the motherland  - a concept that both Slovenes and Russians can relate to.
