Letters, photographs and paintings related to renowened Russian writer Leo Tolstoy are exhibited in the library of Nice. The exhibition entitled ''Leo Tolstoy. The exhibition has been prepared by the Leo Tolstoy State Museum in Moscow in collaboration with the Nice Library and other organizations. The opening of the exposition will be attended by representatives of the mayor's office of the French city.

The exhibits will tell the story of the visit of Leo Tolstoy's family to Nice, Marseille, Toulon and other parts of France.

On November 19, the director of the Leo Tolstoy Museum in Moscow, Sergei Arkhangelov, will give a lecture on the writer's European travels. There will also be a lecture on Russian cuisine, a screening of a film inspired by the works of Tolstoy, a concert of Russian and French music and an award ceremony for the winners of a drawing competition dedicated to Tolstoy's works.
