Visitors of Vienna Book Fair get acquainted with Russian literature

Russia has become a guest of honor at the Buch Wien Vienna International Book Fair "Buch Wien", which will be held November 10-14. Book presentations, meetings with Russian writers, translators and illustrators, discussions and other events are planned for the fair, the Russian Embassy in Austria writes on Facebook.

Russian Ambassador to Austria Dmitry Lyubinsky, Vice President of the Russian Book Union, Director of the Department for State Support of Periodicals and the Book Industry of the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia Vladimir Grigoriev and President of the Main Union of Austrian Bookselling Benedict Föger are going to take part in the opening of the Russian stand.

The program of the Russian stand includes more than 30 events, which will present new books by authors writing in the languages ​​of the peoples of Russia. Contemporary Russian writers, such as Guzel Yakhina, Evgeny Vodolazkin, and Alisa Ganieva, are going to personally present theit books to the German audience.
