Reading Dostoevsky marathon kicks off in South America

The Russian Center at the University of Buenos Aires has launched the Reading Dostoevsky literary marathon. 

The marathon is dedicated to the writer's 200th anniversary. It was initiated by the Expert Council on the Russian Language at the World Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots Abroad.

The readings are taking place in two languages: Russian and the language of the country of residence. The citizens of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Chile have recorded the Russian-Spanish version of "The Dream of a Ridiculous Man" short story. Readers from Russia and Spain also joined the project.
