The St. Petersburg Nikolai Miklukho-Maclay foundation has launched a new international educational project dedicated to achievements of Russian science, Interfax reports.

The fund explained that the project will begin in the countries of Southeast Asia. Schoolchildren and students will be invited to join a virtual expedition based on the discoveries made by Russian scientists. The list of discoveries includes new antibiotics, nanochips, which make it possible to diagnose malignant processes in the human body, the study of the soils of Mars, the discovery of new species of ancient people, and others.

Scientific, educational and public organizations are involved in the event. The project will open on November 4 with a conference in Malaysia. It will later move to Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia and Taiwan.
