Dina Averina becomes 15-time world champion in rhythmic gymnastics

Russian gymnast Dina Averina has won the gold medal of Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championship, TASS reports. It is the 15th gold medal in her collection. 

Averina received more than 29 points from the jury. Her sister, Arina Averina, got 27,6 points and the silver medal. The top three was closed by the Belarusian gymnast Alina Gornosko.

The Averina sisters perform at the championship under the guidance of a new coach, the Olympic champion Yulia Barsukova. Vera Shatalina previously worked with talented athletes.

Dina Averina previously won the silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics this year.
