The Tretyakov Gallery, the Tsarskoye Selo and Fanagoria museums are going to hold exhibitions in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) early next year. The organizer of the large-scale exhibition project is the Ministry of Culture of Russia, TASS reports.

Russian Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova spoke about plans to organize multimedia exhibitions of famous Russian museums following a meeting with the UAE Ambassador to Russia Mohammad Ahmad Aljaber.

The World Cultural Heritage Week in Sharjah, which will open on November 21, is going to become another platform for interaction of the two countries. According to Lyubimova, representatives of the Russian museum community will join the event.

In October, the St. Petersburg Opera launched the Russian culture program at Expo 2020 in Dubai with an aria from Verdi's Rigoletto Opera.
