Russian-speaking bikers from Germany made a motorcycle rally to the Soviet cemetery in Dusseldorf, where the remains of more than 1,500 prisoners of war from the USSR are buried. The bikers planted red tulips at the foot of the memorial, Russkoy Pole reports.

The action brought together Russian-speaking representatives of many biker clubs from several regions of Germany. At the end of September, the "Guard of Memory" organization was founded in Cologne. The goal of its members is to look after the burials of the Red Army soldiers and hold memorial events in their honor.

The rally became the first event of the new organization. Despite the rainy and windy weather, an impressive column of motorcycles with the flags rode down to the cemetery. In addition to planting flowers, the bikers honored the memory of the deceased prisoners of war, listened to war songs, and drank tea from a samovar.
