The Finnish National Archives will several volumes of documents proving the crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices from the Russian Historical Society (RHS), RIA Novosti reports.

According to Konstantin Mogilevsky, who heads the board of the RHS, the documents reflect the atrocities of Finnish Nazi accomplices committed on the territory of the Soviet Union. The documents also describe the actions of the Finnish SS volunteer battalion, which operated in North Ossetia.

Russian and Finnish historians will continue to study these materials in order to preserve the truth about what crimes were committed against Soviet citizens.

Despite the pandemic, Russian and Finnish historians maintain contacts online, said Mogilevsky. Representatives of the RHS are regularly invited to Finland to work with archive materials on, among other things, the activities of Finnish concentration camps on Soviet territory.
