1st online festival of Russian contemporary films kicks off in Israel

The online Russian film festival (RFF) has started in Israel for the first time in history. The festival lasts until November 4, ten Russian films released in recent years will bw screened during this period. The films will be translated into Hebrew, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.

The festival is organized by Roskino with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, the Film Fund and the Moscow Committee for Tourism. Since last year, it has taken place in 11 countries, the total number of viewers exceeded 200,000 people. 

The program includes movies that won Russian and international awards. Films by Andrei Konchalovsky, Valery Todorovsky, Kantemir Balagov, Grigory Dobrygin will be brought to Israel.
