Russian-Turkish Friendship Park opened in Antalya

The Russian-Turkish Friendship Park has been opened in Antalya. This Turkish resort city is very popular with Russian tourists. The opening ceremony took place at the end of last week.mRussian diplomats, local residents, members of the Russian-speaking diaspora took part in it. 

According to the head of the municipality Muratpashi Umit Uisal, about 20,000 Russians live in Antalya.

A monument to Leo Tolstoy is installed in the park. It was handed over to the regional authorities by the Russian Association for International Cooperation, the Turkish Friendship Association and the Dialogue of Cultures - One World Foundation.
