The new academic year at the Russian-Palestinian Friendship School started with an open lesson. It took place on September 30, according to the Russian Humanitarian Mission.

The students told the guests that the school was built with funds allocated by the Russian government with the assistance of President Mahmoud Abbas.

Schoolchildren read poems dedicated to school and teachers in Russian. This year, many new students from other schools have been transferred to the school. They read excerpts from literary works in Russian and Arabic.

The representative of Rossotrudnichestvo promised that the best graduates of the school would be able to continue their education in Russian universities.
