A young resident of Lugansk, Faina Savenkova sent a letter to the office of the UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, RIA Novosti reports.

Earlier, the girl was included in the database of the scandalous Ukrainian site, Peacemaker. It maintains the list of so-called enemies of Ukraine.

12-years-old Faina is famous for her literary work. She is the author of a number of short stories and plays. In her video message, she recalled that the children of Donbass also have the right to a happy childhood and a peaceful sky. In Ukraine, the girl was accused of "spreading fakes" and "speculations."

It is unacceptable to turn the civilian population in the zone of armed conflict into tools used to achieve momentary political goals, the office of the official representative of the UN Secretary General stated. This is especially true for children, the office said.

It became known the day before that the girl turned to the UN Secretary General for the second time. She asks the secretary to urge Kiev to have the personal data of minors removed from the Peacemaker, and to get the website itself blocked. Faina Savenkova recalled that it is not the first time that the personal data of children were posted on the website. It exerts psychological pressure on minors and poses a threat to their safety.

The 12-year-old writer is confident that the UN will be able to influence the Ukrainian government and make it implement its own laws. Faina Savenkova is sure that the lives of children should not be allowed to be in danger.
