5th anniversary of Russian Spiritual and Cultural Orthodox Center celebrated in Paris

The Russian Spiritual and Cultural Orthodox Center in Paris has celebrated its 5th anniversary, TASS reports. A big concert in honor of this event took place on Quai Branly. Russian compatriots, scientists and representatives of public organizations took part in it. 

The complex of buildings with the five-domed Holy Trinity Cathedral was built on the Quai Branly in two years. According to the Ambassador of the Russian Federation Alexei Meshkov, the architectural ensemble was praised by both Parisians and tourists. 

The center welcomes everyone who is interested in Russian history, achievements of Russia in science and culture, and wants to speak Russian. The project was initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin and the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill. 
 
During its existence, the center has held more than 600 events, including round table discussions and exhibitions. 

The head of the Russian center, Leonid Kadyshev, thanked everyone who helped implement this project.

The center consists of four buildings with a total area of ​​over 600 square meters. These include the Quai Branly Cultural Center, the University Street Study Center, the Rapp Street Administrative Building and the Temple.
