Schoolchildren from Central America asked questions to Russian cosmonauts

Schoolchildren from Central America, the Dominican Republic and Paraguay have taken part in the traditional "Ask a Question to a Russian Cosmonaut" competition. It is held every year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation writes on its website. The event is included to the World Space Week program, the Russian Embassy in Nicaragua and the Central American Parliament helped to organize it.

Cosmonauts Yuri Usachev, Fyodor Yurchikhin and RSC Energia's leading specialist Sergei Samburov answered the children's questions about space exploration, work and life on the International Space Station online.

The schoolchildren also watched ''Gagarin. The first in space" documentary.
