Russian foreign theaters perform at festival in Budapest

The Lukomorye festival of Russian-language theaters abroad started on Thursday, October 7, in Budapest, the Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots writes on its website. The cultural forum is being held for the 8th time. The representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo helps to organize the forum.

Theater companies from Israel, Bulgaria, Russia, Germany, and Ukraine became the participants of Lukomorye.

This year, the festival is timed to the 200th anniversary of Fyodor Dostoevsky.

The festival program includes acting and stage speech master classes.

Admission to all performances is free of charge.
