Russian robot delivered first lectures for American college students

Robot Promobot V. 4, developed by the Russian company Promobot, has delivered first lectures in Rowan-Cabarrus Community College (North Carolina, US.) This is the first time the company collaborates with an educational institution in the United States, TASS reports.

The first lectures were devoted to service robots, the project allows students to study programming, electronics and mechatronics. Promobot V. 4 will help students learn how to control a robot, get acquainted with the face recognition system, and practise interacting with a robot.

Students' ideas and developments will go straightly to the creators of the robot and can be used for later updates. 

The robots created by Promobot have been delivered to more than 40 countries. They provide consulting services, conducts tours, and undertake administrative tasks.
