The Animated Film Festival is taking place in Berlin from 1 to 3 October. The screenings, discussions and master classes will be held in the Russian House, the Russkoe Pole newspaper reports.

This year, the festival's program is focused on the works of Russian animators, as their films will be screened in the children's and teenage sections, as well as in the contemporary program.

During the master classes, experts are going to explain the basics of animation and teach guests how to create animated characters. Classes will be held in Russian, English and German.

The festival is organized by the Animation Network Berlin assosiation.
