The third phase of clinical trials of the Sputnik V vaccine has been completed. The drug has been studied for use in people over 60 years. According to the head of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko, studies have proven the high safety and effectiveness of the vaccine, RIA Novosti reports.

The scientists at the Gamaleya Center are preparing to present the research results in a final report, the minister said.

According to Denis Manturov, head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, more than 100 million sets of vaccines doses were produced in Russia during the third quarter. About 65 million of them are doses of Sputnik V.

By the end of the year, another 150 million sets of all four vaccines will be produced in Russia.
