Foreign students of Tyumen State University will have the chance to practise their Russian in a speaking club, moi-portal.ru reports.

Its program includes film screenings and board games, which will get them acquainted with Russian customs and help enrich the vocabulary. Local student volunteers will help them with this.

Participation in a conversation club will also be useful for young people from Russia, as this is a great way to learn more about life in other countries, improve the level of English, and develop creative and organizational skills.

The university admitted that the lack of Russian language courses was a major issue for several years. Foreign students who did not study at the preparatory faculty did not have the chance to practise the language.
