A Japanese-Russian online meeting was held with the participation of students from Soka University and Vyatka State University on September 17. They were joined by representatives of the Kirov Regional Scientific Library, Kirov branch of the Russia-Japan Friendship Society and the Japanese Soka Gakkai social-Buddhist organization. 

Russian students told about student life and nature in Russia, while their Japanese counterparts introduced them to Japanese culture and life.

The participants talked about the importance of friendly communication between peoples. Japanese students studying Russian voiced a desire to come to Russia and continue their studies there.
