More than 20 tons of ice cream were sent from Vologda to Nigeria, Vologda.RF reports.

Vologda ice cream is popular in Africa and other regions of the world. Previously, Vologda-made products were supplied to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Israel, China, Cote d'Ivoire, Mongolia and Senegal. In total, almost 1,411.5 tons of ice cream were exported from Vologda in 2021.

The producers are convinced that foreign partners are attracted by the naturalness of the product, as all raw materials are purchased from local agricultural producers.

In 2018, more than 64 tons of ice cream were exported to China.
