Airplanes from Russia are starting to fly to South Korea, the Dominican Republic and the Czech Republic, RIA Novosti reports. Air traffic with these three countries is restored on Friday, August 27. Earlier it was interrupted due to restrictions aimed at combating coronavirus infection.

The number of flights to Hungary, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Cyprus and Egypt is also increasing. It is planned that a dozen flights every week will connect Moscow with Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh. One flight will fly to these Egyptian resorts every week from more than 40 Russian regions.

Earlier, the leaders of the two countries, Vladimir Putin and Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, agreed to restore the full volume of air traffic between Russia and Egypt in the spring. The decision to resume flights became possible after the specialists from the two countries finished evaluating the aviation security at Egyptian airports.
