The Estonian Consul in St. Petersburg Mart Lyatte has been declared persona non grata, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry. It is reported that he was detained while receiving classified materials from a Russian national.

The consul must leave the territory of Russia within two days, the Foreign Ministry explained.
