Direct Line with Vladimir Putin, the annual special television program,  will take place on Wednesday, June 30, RIA Novosti reports. The large-scale event will be held for the 18th time. The conversation with the Russians will be broadcast live by all major TV channels and radio stations. It is expected duration is least three hours.

The Direct Line will start at 12:00 am (Moscow time). Kremlin's spokesperson Dmitry Peskov believes that the number of calls will exceed one million. A huge part of the questions are related to the coronavirus pandemic. Russians are also interested in the topics of overcoming the crisis and the shortage of medicaments in a number of regions. Far fewer questions are devoted to foreign policy, although relations with Washington also worry Russians.

Vladimir Putin will have direct access to an array of questions from all regions of Russia.

It was decided not to invite guests to the studio due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation.
