Academic year in Granada ended with Russian music concert

21.06.2021

The Russian Center of the University of Granada celebrates the end of academic year with a concert. This year's concert program included Russian romance songs and choral singing.

The poems by famous Russian poets and the music by famous composers were performed by soprano singer Maria Stikhun and pianist Anna Ivanova.

In the second part of the concert, the choir of the Art, Literary and Scientific Center of Granada performed the works by Tchaikovsky, Bortnyansky and Borodin. Particular attention was drawn to the performance of an excerpt from the Prince Igor Opera by Alexander Borodin, which the Spanish choristers sang in Russian.

The concert has concluded the Russian People and Granada program series, organized by the Russian Center and the Art, Literary and Scientific Center of Granada.
