The winter family camp of the National Organization of Russian Scouts (NORS) of Australia took place in a picturesque valley of waterfalls 100 kilometers from Sydney. For four days, children and adults learned to live in nature, sang songs by the fire and had lively conversations, the Edinenie newspaper reported.

The camp, set up near a reservoir and famous waterfalls, brought together more than 50 scouts and their parents. The inhabitants of the camp took part in activities dedicated to life in nature. Numerous cultural, game and sports events, culinary and acting lessons were also held.

The participants watched dance and singing performances, and sang in chorus around the fire. The participants also enjoyed a 13-kilometer hike to the waterfall.

Russian scouts in Australia pay great attention to the study and implementation of Russian traditions.
